Wedding photography is about capturing the moments on film in such a way that the memories they evoke are as strong in 50 years as the day they were caught on film. From the day her father built her first, home-based darkroom during her teenage years, Mary Phillips has strived to develop her abilities to capture someone’s spirit on film.

Trained at Columbia College in Chicago and at seasonal Maine Photographic workshops, Mary applies her journalistic style of photography to every wedding and engagement shoot. Mary's photographic style combines the exceptional beauty of light and form with her unique way of looking at objects and people producing imagery that is worthy of a lifetime of memories.

A full-time mother and photographer based in McKinney, Mary shoots at locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex specializing in unique outdoor locations for dynamic engagment pictures that set the tone for the event to come.
